When you’re setting up at Kiawah Ocean Course, it’s like stepping into a postcard. With a sailcloth tent on the edge of the beach, it makes for gorgeous views, but oh man the wind that day! Luckily the giant palm arrangements we created atop 10-foot ladders were solid on the massive columns designed by Host & Haven. The huge planters for the ceremony on the crest of the hill were a different story. You would never know it from the pictures, but it took a person behind each planter to anchor the arrangements during the ceremony.
