We are extra proud of this wedding because it was published in a print edition of Martha Weddings. September weddings are really fun because they still have the bounty of summer flowers but autumn color is starting to make an appearance. Jessica, the wedding planner, came up with this fresh take on a colorful September color palette: deep sorbet pinks and peaches juxtaposed with autumn burgundies, rusty reds, and a tinge of blue and cobalt. Fun fact, Michelle’s bridal bouquet with that king protea is one of my all time favorites so I had a painting commissioned of it by artist Lulie Wallace.
