Oh to flower at the Biltmore Estate in the fall! I didn’t have any trouble with my floral designers’ availability for this incredible wedding weekend. Our bride Allie got an absolutely gorgeous weekend at Diana overlooking the Biltmore. She requested a deep red and burgundy bouquet and we designed a clutch of amaryllis, garden roses, and dahlias. The huge tent entrance arrangements in our antique cast iron urns were a favorite with local foliage we foraged from the mountainside. Any brides looking to get married at the Biltmore? My family has a home in the mountains outside of Asheville and flowering on the generous back porch where I spent my childhood summers will forever be a career high for me. There’s nothing quite like the mountain air in October and you can tell that the flowers loved it, too.
