This December wedding was less than a mile from our Columbia studio, at the bride’s family home. You would hardly know it from the photos, but it absolutely poured down rain. This is one of those weekends where I am so thankful for our dedicated team of designers. Every arch we installed outside was at the hand of a soaking wet florist. Our bride, Katherine, was a dream and despite temperamental weather conditions, was gracious, giddy, and completely lovely. As for flowers, glistening rain lent a glowy effect to our deep moody palette of blooms. The burgundy peonies were especially showing off amidst twinkly candlelight and lush vines of smilax.
